The Makita EN4950H Pole Hedge Trimmer is powered by a fuel-efficient 25.4 cc 4-stroke engine, with low running costs, to deliver up to 4,200 spm. The powerful 4-stroke engine requires no fuel mix.
 
This model features a recoil starter with automatic decompression, diaphragm carburettor and primer pump. A multi-position engine lubrication system enables the engine to be included at any angle even during continuous operation and has a multi angle-adjustable hedge trimmer head, with 13 angle settings through 135 degrees, 45-degree tilt-up to 90 degrees tilt-down from the horizontal position.
The EN4950H is 180 degrees foldable for easy storage and transport. The built-in clutch works to stop the blade motion even if the throttle lever is touched whilst 180 degrees folding.
